NCAA Picks of The Day (for March 20th)

NCAA PICKS OF THE DAY

Date: 03.20.2013.
Fixture: Texas @ Houston
Pick: Texas -2
Odds: (-105) @ Bovada

Prediction: Texas 78, Houston 73

With the NCAA tournament being held in Austin, Texas this weekend, Rick Barnes has to take his Longhorns on the road for their opening game of the CBI tournament. Look for Myck Kabongo to score at will against a Houston team that really doesn’t like to play defense in an attempt to impress NBA scouts for the draft held in June.

Date: 03.20.2013
Fixture: Air Force @ Hawaii
Pick: Air Force Pickem Game
Odds: (-105) @ Bovada

Prediction:  Air Force 76, Hawaii 70

Am I missing something with this line here? Air Force should be at least be giving 4 points in this game even with their star player out with a torn right meniscus in Michael Lyons. Look for Mike Fitzgerald to go off in this CIT tilt as Hawaii truly cannot guard the three at all.

Date: 03.20.2013
Fixture: Stony Brook @ Massachusetts
Pick: Stony Brook +5
Odds: (-105) @ Bovada

Prediction:  Massachusetts 72, Stony Brook 70

Let’s throw some NIT action at ya… Coming off a disappointing American East tournament debut where they lost to Albany in the second round, I’m definitely going to take the better team in this situation and the points and hope for a bounce-back from Pikiell’s Seawolves. Game has a back-door cover written all over it.
